    It's an optional field that is used for reporting purposes... for example, to calculate gross margin/profit for each product sale etc. Cheers

    Products appear in the Sale Item snap-in when they have a product level pricing discount applied to them. Directions: Open the product in the 'product editor' screen Select the pricing tab Choose the 'sale type' or 'date Range' check boxes Fill in the pricing matrix underneath... the sale price etc. Cheers
