  • Re: Multiple Criteria Product Selections

A little late on the response but if you are still looking for a response on this :) - attributes is possibly an option....not search based but can be used to navigate and narrow down the path based on criteria (attributes) selected. This knowledgebase article describes the feature: https://www.americommerce.com/kb/?f=12 - at the bottom of the ...

Is there an easy way to offer a seminar as a product catalog item and collect registration information for each student?

  • Re: Google Chrome

I use Chrome as my primary browser, but don't use it for any americommerce work because of the issues you mention.  The one other thing I've noted from the public side of things is that my attributes drop-downs that are in our right column actually extend past the column into white space.  If you have a solution, I'd love to hear it!

  • Re: Gifts for Him/Her or Gifts under $50

I would solve this by using 'attributes' i.e. Create an attribute group 'gift suggestions' Then add the different attributes to the group: Gifts for Her, Gift for Him, etc You then need to assign the appropriate attribute/s to each product using the product editor screen - 'attribute tab'  Finally you need to add the attribute ...

  • Attribute Import/Export

Defining sort orders for atrtibute values 1 by 1 in the backeend is such an inefficient way to do things. You need to open each attribute and then edit it. Even a quick edit allowing you to adjust sort orders without having to open each item would be a huge improvement.... but ultimalte an import/export would be ideal   ...anyone else as ...

  • Re: How do I add attributes to an item?

Joe:I tried adding a couple attributes to an item but keep getting an error message and I'm not sure I'm doing it right. I tried searching around for a ''how to add attributes'' article in the knowledge base but was unable to find anything helpful. if there is such a thing can somebody post a link to it or otherwise give me a quick rundown on all ...

  • Re: Browse by Attribute Snap-In

I'm trying to use the ##ATTRIBUTEDETAILS## merge - it's not working, and I can't figure out why.  I've simply entered the merge:##ATTRIBUTEDETAILS##into a Custom HTML snap-in in various areas: the home page center content, the left column, the category pages, the catalog pages...  and all that results is the characters ...

  • Re: Browse by Attribute Snap-In

Hello, The attribute snap-in is only used when you DO want the drop-down menu. For the attribute 'browse' option, you need to use the merge (you can add it to a Custom HTML snap-in): ##ATTRIBUTEDETAILS## - a formatted output of all attribute groups, their values and their attribute names ...

  • Re: Attribute Group Snap-in

Do you have a link to the page in question? I can't quite visualise the problem. My first thought is that you should only require 1 attribute snap-in (in order to display both attibutes) - but you might be trying to do something different that I'm not aware of. This article might also help you: http://www.americommerce.com/kb/?f=94 Cheers
