    HTML vs. <strong>?

Google does not read the <strong> HTML format as a bolded item.  Americommerce uses <strong> to show a bold word.  When I went to change it to so Google would read it correctly, the word does not show up as a bold word, only when you use <strong>.   Is there any way around this or can Americommerce get this format changed to ?  This is a standard HTML format and I'm not sure why Americommerce does not use it properly.

As far as I am aware, is not a valid HTML tag.  I think what you are looking for is <b>.

I've read somewhere that has also been used.  I'll try the <b> info.  That was probably the problem......wrong info. Thanks!

    <b> is the beginning tag

</b> closes the bolding at the end of your text.
