I want to set up some of my related items to have no additional shipping charge when purchased with the main item. 

When I set it up this phrase is listed with the item: "Free Shipping when purchased with this item!".  I think this will cause confusion where the customer would think the whole order would ship free.

I would rather have the phrase say "No additional shipping charge when purchased with this item!".  Otherwise I would rather have it say nothing and I'll put it in the bullet section. How can this be changed?...thanks...Mike

I dont know of any way to give free shipping on the ITEM ONLY level. This is a pretty important feature in my opinion; however we have only been able to offer a % or $ off on the item, or FREE SHIPPING on the whole order.

If there is a way to allow free shipping (of a specified available shipping method) on the product level please advise!

I believe you can do a flat rate of $0 on each item for the shipping method(s) you want to give away for free.  Most people only want to give free ground shipping not across the board, so this gives you the control you need to only give free shipping on the ones you want to.
