I am trying to size my thumbs on the category pages and no matter what I try they stay the same 80x100. I have tried the built in resizer and the css layout.

Hi Mark,
Below is a snapshot of the settings I use to control my category image sizes under Themes > Category - CSS Layout. These let me control the maximum 'area' for the image. I run a batch resize thru Photoshop and keep all my images at 150px height before uploading them.
If you are trying to control the size of subcategory images - then the child category thumbnails CSS settings should let you control it.
While batch resizing before uploading may not be what you are looking to do - its something that works well for us - so I thought I'd drop it in as an option.
