I am using the 15 day free trial to evaluate americommerce. I am looking for a platform replace my netsuite site. I am impressed with americommerce's features, however when using the trial, I keep running into ugly code errors. For example, the error below happened when I tried to save a new item. Is this typical?

you are deifnitely makign a good move away from Netsuite.....AC is a great replacement at a fractionof the cost (at least from my analysis)

.... send a ticket to support they can help you with this type of issue, noone on the forum can. This type of error is usually a result of some small mis-configuration. The guys at AC are real helpful and can get this resolved for you quickly

Thanks for your feedback - Netsuite is an awesome integrated product and has served us well for 7+ years; however, Netsuite is very expensive and the e-commerce features are sorely lacking and outdated. For example, still no google checkout, no one page check out, etc. etc. Simply doesnt make sense to continue with them.

 I am very impressed so far with the americommerce demo. I'll let you know how it compares once I work out the kinks in the demo.

I was about to sign up for Netsuite but Americommerce is very impressive.  I also wonder if its possible to use Netsuite for the backend accounting and Americommerce for ecommerce via API.  Could you call me?  Id love to hear what you have to say before I make a very costly mistake.  Thank you in Advance. There have been many that have asked for an integrator to NetSuite, it is something that us or 3rd party integrators would entertain as a custom project.  We both expose API's that should be able to push and pull the information needed to keep netsuite for the backend but use a much more advanced system for the front end.

 As for the error in the top of this thread, this sounds like an attribute was deleted but still referenced, this is something support can definitely help you out with once you sign up for one of the packages.

On a personal note my parents run a business that was on NetSuite for a time and since switching they have never looked back, I think it's a wise move.  They may be biased of course, lol, but really the ecomm platform with us is so much richer.  And if you can find some people to share the cost of developing the netsuite integrator it could be the best of both worlds.
