This lists each change to the AmeriCommerce product. Major changes and new features are listed by major version numbers and typically have more information. Hotfixes and minor changes are listed by month/date. You can tell which version you are on at the bottom of your admin console and compare the last numbers to the dates in these postings to determine if you have the fix or feature. For example 5.0.29.10181 will have all fixes from version 29 before 10/18 (Oct-18) of the current year in the 29 release of AmeriCommerce. This is a subscribable list of features and changes to the AmeriCommerce multiple storefront shopping cart system.
- FEATURE: Dictionary (related words) Search feature added. User can maintain a list of related words. On “All words” search, a translation can occur from one word to another. On “Any word” search, a word can be expanded into several words.
- For example, “Kermit” could be translated to “frog” or expanded in to “Kermit frog toad”. This is invisible to the shopper.
- FEATURE: "Any word" search now supports quoted phrases when using multiple terms for “Any word”.
- Example: “horse food” worked fine, “horse food” feed did not. It would just treat as horse food feed.
- FEATURE: Added a much higher relevance for exact matches and starts with matches on Item Name and Item Number, as exact matches were not always showing up first.
- FEATURE: “Exact match” added as a search type on the store search page.
- FEATURE: new merge ## MANUFACTURERDROPDOWN## or ## MANUFACTURERDROPDOWN[Width=100,DefaultText=Search By Manufacturer]##\FEATURE:
- Can now pass in a width or CSS class to the merge ## SEARCHBOX## Example: ## SEARCHBOX[Width=147]## or ## SEARCHBOX[Class=bigSearch]##
- FEATURE: Large speed enhancements across the application to remove multiple database hits in many places.
- HOTFIX: Sort By drop down was not showing the first time when initiating a search form the search page.
- HOTFIX: Sorting was not working when initiating a search form the search page.
- HOTFIX: Sorting was reverting to a previous search when doing more than one search and search term was in query string (by search box, paging, etc).
- HOTFIX: “Any word” search does was not working well with paging.
- HOTFIX: Prevent variant changes from causing bad input mapping to variant inventory items
- HOTFIX: Overload for Download files was incorrectly sending parameters. Only affects prod 5.0.6.
- HOTFIX - Product personalizations were not reproduced when cloning a product. (v76 & 5.0)
