Subscribable list of features and changes to the AmeriCommerce multiple storefront shopping cart system
- FEATURE: Tracking links will automatically be generated from tracking codes and link to the proper providors tracking pages. A tracking code will take priority over a tracking URL, if both are provided. If no code is provided, the tracking URL will be used for the link.
- FEATURE: Provided SEO Manager on store settings, to tweak and differentiate default meta tags and page titles on a per store basis on all key page types
- FEATURE: OnePageCheckout now uses AJAX to eliminate lots of postbacks and dynamically update info based on user input and capture customer information for abandoned carts immediately after typing.
- FEATURE - Added ##TRACKINGURL## merge for e-mails, which is built from the automatic generation of tracking URLs. It will attempt to generate based on provider if the tracking code is provided, otherwise it will use the specified tracking URL.
- HOTFIX: Have shipping provider markup and adjustments applied the same way between query individual and query all rates.
- HOTFIX - Added the attribute snap-in fix back in, along with a check for a null Request.QueryString["Attrib"]. Also included details in comments as to why the fix was done the way it was done.
- FEATURE #302: Added a new storetext field "ShoppingCart_ShippingAdditionalInformation_string" which can be used to display optional shipping information (link) next to the shipping method dropdown or the zipcode only box
- HOTFIX: fix issue in GridHelper.SetValueList that caused blank value entries to not be properly inserted
- MAINTENANCE: Added tracking link to the View Order page, and made tracking links on View Order and My Account pages open in a new window.
- MAINTENANCE: One page checkout: lots of fixes to payment methods mostly related to markups and store based payment methods
- MAINTENANCE: Grouped Store Settings page into 4 tabs, and better sections within the tabs
- MAINTENANCE: New site merges for category, manufacturer, attributes, content pages and product pages.
